With Dropbox, (free, www.getdropbox.com) you can. Simply download a file on all of your computers, and you can upload files from anywhere to their website. If you uploaded it from your computer, then it will automatically sync with the file on your computer. Edit it on computer a? It will show the new file on computer b. All of this, free.
